In this project, we try to find a biomarker that can be used for early detection of Huanglongbing in citrus.

Goals / Objectives
Identification of potential biomarkers and other tools for the early detection of Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas), the causal agent of citrus greening (Huanglongbing) using trans-disciplinary, time-wise study. The study includes simultaneous GC-MS and HPLC-MS metabolite profiling of citrus tissues (leaf, phloem sap, root tissue), analysis of phytohormone levels, ans protein expression.
