Goals / Objectives
To determine whether apparent resistance from Microcitrus and Eremocitrus is transferred when hybridized with cultivated citrus and can be successfully introgressed into germplasms with commerical fruit quality.
Methods (unparsed)
Receive seed and establish trials of Microcitrus and Eremocitrus hybrids ranging from pure Microcitrus and Eremocitrus including advanced breeding lines. Assess progression of huanglongbing, Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus titer, and evaluate plant growth.
